A dinner was hosted by David and Jackie Seigel, founders of the Victoria's Voice Foundation (in memory of their daughter). The contestants each presented them with gifts from their states, as well as a check for $50,000 which was raised through fundraisers each contestant held to benefit the Foundation.
The Contestants were invited to The Marmel's suite for a dinner party.
A tradition at Mrs. America is the State Delegates each brings gifts representing their states for everyone. Jessica gave gift bags with Maine "Bumpah" Stickers from Land's End Gift Shop, Coconut and Almond Buko Chips from Cornerstone Food Company, and Coin Purses from Sea Crow Company.
Jessica departed for the Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas on August 20th. Once there, she met her roommate Mrs. New Hampshire America Amber Lilystrom, along with the other State Delegates. The first day consisted of checking into the hotel and getting settled, receiving her swimsuit, opening number dress, and sashes, and attending the Welcome Dinner that evening.
