Eastern Maine Pageant Workshop

Mrs. Maine America 2010 Christine Blake was a guest presenter for the Eastern Maine Pageant Workshop held on July 25th in Baileyville. She, along with Darrin & Deb Landry and former Maine's Outstanding Teen Shannon Folsom, helped teach walking and speaking techniques to several aspiring beauty queens.

Yarmouth Clam Festival Parade

Mrs. Cumberland 2011 Amy McGeachey Bond participated in the Annual Yarmouth Clam Festival Parade, along with fellow titleholders Mrs. Biddeford 2011 Kerry Berry, Maine's Outstanding Teen 2010 Marybeth Noonan, and Mrs. Kennebunkport 2011 Laurel Strack.




Portland Phoenix Soccer Game

And the rain continued as Mrs. Maine-America 2010 Christine Blake traveled to Scarborough to do the honor of singing The National Anthem at the opening of the Portland Phoenix soccer game!

Maine Breast Cancer Coalition Car Show Fundraiser Sponsored by the Rumford Eagles

On July 10th, Mrs. Maine-America 2010 Dr. Christine Blake braved the rainy weather to be a special guest at the Rumford Eagles Car Show Fundraiser for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition. Dr. Blake was a speaker, had an information table for MENC, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Chronic Disease Prevention where she did free blood pressure checks, and had some fun singing with the band!

Miss 4th of July Pageant

Mrs. Maine-America 2010 Dr. Christine Blake was a judge for the Miss 4th of July Pageant, held in Winslow on June 27th. Miss Maine Teen USA 2010 Norissa Morse and Mrs. Greater Waterville 2011 Carol Walker were also judges.


Maine Jr. Olympics

Mrs. Maine-America 2010 Dr. Christine Blake was a guest at the Maine Jr. Olympics, held at Bowdion College on June 26th. Dr. Blake handed out awards to all the athletes, who were from all over New England and New York State. Later that evening, Dr. Blake was the opening speaker, addressing the athletes and their families about the importance of healthy living. She was honored to introduce 1968 Gold Medal Olympian Dick Fosbury, who also address the athletes. He is best known for revolutionizing the high jump, dubbed the Fosbury Flop.
